A seasoned leader with 18 years of experience at SOMFY, Martin Salome is responsible for overseeing SOMFY’s operations across Hungary, the Balkans, the Baltics, and Romania (HBBR). His career spans multiple international roles in France, Australia, and Europe, with a strong emphasis on market development, strategic growth, and commercial execution. 

Previously, Martin played a key role in shaping SOMFY’s global B2C strategy, leading the international deployment of Amazon Europe and driving digital sales and omnichannel expansion. Today, he focuses on adapting global strategies to local markets, managing diverse teams, and fostering long-term value creation in a fast-evolving industry. 

With a passion for innovation and agility, Martin continues to drive impactful business transformation across the HBBR region. 

Simona Manole Meriwether

Simona Manole Meriwether is Marketing Manager for Hungary, the Balkans, the Baltics, and Romania at Somfy.  She’s got 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, driving brand growth and customer engagement across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to Somfy, she worked with Fortune 500 companies, leading strategic marketing initiatives across industries including building technologies, smart automation, FMCG, and digital transformation. With expertise in marketing and communications, demand generation, and channel marketing, she has successfully built brand narratives and strategic partnerships across diverse markets, bringing fresh perspectives to brand storytelling and customer engagement.

Virgil Lixandru

With over two decades of experience in sales, business development, and strategic leadership, Virgil Lixandru is a recognized expert in driving growth and innovation in the technology and smart home industries. Currently serving as Sales Manager for Romania, the Baltic, and CIS countries at Somfy, Virgil has played a pivotal role in expanding market presence and fostering strategic partnerships.
His career spans key leadership positions at Senso Ambiente Ltd, International Transactions & Services S.A.- market leader company in distribution of IT hardware products, and ALTEX Romania, where he refined his expertise in business strategy, team leadership, and new market development. Passionate about innovation and customer-centric solutions, Virgil continues to shape the future of smart living through cutting-edge sales strategies and visionary leadership. 

Raul Moldovan

Raul Moldovan is a seasoned Branch Manager at Casa Noastra – Qfort, with a consistent career trajectory in sales, relationship management, and partnership management. He excels in client cultivation and business development, demonstrating a proud history of building, guiding, and leading diverse national teams. 

Raul's career began with a strong foundation in sales and customer relations, where he quickly distinguished himself through his dedication and skill. Over the years, he has accumulated numerous accolades for his achievements in developing people, sales modeling and management, as well as business expansion and transformation 

Mihai Moia

Mihai Moia is Executive Director of the Association for Promoting Energy Efficiency in Buildings – ROENEF in Romania, since 2018. Previously, Mr. Moia has been Secretary of State and President of the Environmental Fund Administration and Adviser in the General Secretariat of the Government within the Romanian Government. From 2011 until 2016, Mr. Moia hold a management position in the United Nations Development Programme in Romania, coordinating the Energy Efficiency portfolio and implementing energy efficiency projects at national level.
